WAS THERE SOMETHING THAT INITIALLY INTERESTED YOU IN MEDIA?

One person can change the whole course of your life. I’m a testament to that. An old friend of mine named Dominick way back in elementary school had a YouTube channel so he always wanted me to be a part and help shoot. I never once hesitated to help him. When Dom needed me I was there. We created video after video then eventually it put this seed inside of me that I felt like it was already a part of me. As if I was meant to do this. I literally told myself, “welp this is fun.”

DO YOU REMEMBER THE FIRST TIME YOU WORKED WITH A CAMERA?

Going into middle school my mom bought me my first phone. The Cricket wireless. This exposed me to take pictures using the phones camera here and there. As I got into my freshman year in high school my mom noticed I loved taking pictures so bought me my first camera for my birthday. A Canon T3i. (Shout out to all my faithful Canon users.) I couldn’t have been more grateful. Since I was already into taking pictures I decided to join Mass Communications which I took all 3 classes throughout my high school career. I knew after I got out of high school I wanted to focus on media.

WHAT REALLY BROUGHT YOU TO THE STATE OF YOUR CAREER TODAY?

After high school I went to college to study Mass Communications and TV broadcasting. Now check this out. After my first semester my life was changed forever. Concluding my first semester of college I was enrolling into my second semester but out of the blue an opportunity was brought to my attention. A close friend of mine by the name of Aaron (@aaronmosesofficial) was traveling in a ministry for gospel singer Eddie James (@eddiejames_). Eddie was looking for a solid media team at the time so Aaron spoke highly of my friend Leo (@imleonel) and I in a meeting. Aaron basically said that we were into media, loved God, people, and we just wanted to serve. Eddie said simply to have us come through. It was that easy! One simple opportunity lead to me traveling full time. I’ve been to almost all the 50 states and about 7 countries.

These are some amazing accomplishments, but it was one of the hardest decisions I had ever made in my life. Before I made the decision to travel I had two choices. Stay home and continue school, or take the leap of faith to see what God has in store for me. I decided to take the leap of faith. Faith is the substance of things hoped for for the evidence of things not seen.

HOW HAS YOUR MINDSET CHANGED? ANY NEW PERSPECTIVES?

Imagine this. You are on an airplane with your parachute. You open the door and now you are at the edge of the door. Now this is where the fear kicks in. You start to ask yourself, what if this? what if that? How can I get here how can I get there? How can I be successful. Should I go for that opportunity? Should I start this business? I’ll tell you this, steve harvey says it best, “If you don’t Jump, your parachute will never open.” You will never soar. You will never see the opportunities God has placed in front of you if you never jump. I encourage whoever is reading this please read carefully. JUMP! Take that extra leap of faith! All you need is a little faith the size of a mustard seed and you can move mountains. One opportunity always leads to the next, when one door closes another door opens. Do to my diligence and faithfulness many doors have been opened since then. I now work for one of the biggest gospel artists in the country by the name of Travis Greene (@travisgreenetv). I have recently directed and shot a music video for his latest single called “Won’t Let Go.” Opportunities have been opening up left and right and I’m so grateful for it.

If you made it this far in my autobiography I want to say congratulations! I do want to leave you readers with this, soar! Take the leap of faith and go for it! What ever it is! You just might be the next Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Quinten Tarrentino or Beyoncé. You might just be the next YOU! No One has what you have inside of you... You hold nothing but greatness that needs to be displayed to the world! Take a leap. I dare you, and see all the opportunities open before your eyes!
